Join us for a unique, 1-day worship conference tailored to worship teams of churches under 200. The cost is FREE if you sign up before Jun 17th! Each registration includes lunch (catered taco buffet), and worship leaders/pastors will receive a free T-Shirt.
Scheduled sessions encompass fundamental topics such as "Theology of Worship," "Liturgy and Service Flow," and workshops that meet practical needs our churches face week in and week out.

This is Our Story...Baptist History Symposium
From persecution to global influence, this symposium will delve into the story of the Baptist faith and message. You’ll walk away knowing the impact Baptist missionaries have made around the world. You’ll grow in your understanding of the protestant tradition you are a part of. You’ll be challenged to look to the future and be a part of conveying the present chapter of the Baptist story, into the hands of those who will write the next chapter.
Oasis of Hope Fish Fry
Oasis of Hope wants to extend an invitation to the churches of the Central Valley Baptist Association to their first-ever community fish fry. In addition to lots of food, there will be music and activities. Come enjoy the food and fun and help this church reach out to its community.

We have an exciting opportunity to hear from one of the speakers at Genesis Apologetics. Dave Bisee will be the keynote speaker at a one evening event held at FBC Waterford on May 7th. Dave will be presenting on “Refuting Evolution: Understanding the Basics.” This will be an informative and formational night and we extend the invitation on behalf of FBC Waterford to every church.
Parents bring your kids to hear the answers to the evolution myth they are being taught in our schools. Bring your collegiate age students so they can be equipped to give an answer in the secular university lecture hall. Adults of all ages are welcome to attend to strengthen to foundational tenants of a Christian Worldview.

Church Admin Appreciation Lunch
Administrative assistants often go unthanked or under-recognized for the contributions they make to helping our churches operate smoothly. The CVBA wants to join in recognizing and thanking our administrative assistants. Join us for lunch and walk away encouraged that your work is not in vain.
ABCM Rummage Sale
Anchored Bible Church Modesto will be holding a rummage sale one day only on April 1st from 7:30am - 12:00pm. There are two ways you can participate!
Donate
We are collecting all types of items (except clothing and bedding). So make some more space in your garage, spare room, or storage unit. You can drop these items off in person or schedule a pick up. To schedule a pick up or drop off call ABCModesto at (209) 523-2580
Shop
In previous years the rummage sale has seen hundreds of shoppers selecting from thousands of items. Come get a good deal for yourself or someone else. Because you are an association member, you are invited to shop during set up which will take place on Friday, March 31st. The gates will be open at 1pm-4pm for early shopping
Contribute
The rummage sale is held as an excuse to engage with our neighborhood. It also raises cash for our youth program which helps sponsors our camp ministry at the CVBA. You can make a donation by visiting ABCModesto.org/give
Youth Bowling Outing
Meet at Yosemite Bowl at 2pm on Sunday March 12th! $10 for two games and shoes is great deal. Bring a few extra dollars for pizza after the game.
FBC Snelling 50th Anniversary
The small town of Snelling is home to one of the great examples of a revitalized church. Led by Ross Lucas this church has seen it’s ups and downs through the years but they are gathering to celebrate the consistent faithfulness of God through it all. Their 50th Anniversary celebration is open to everyone in the CVBA. Come enjoy food, music, and fellowship.
This is a great opportunity to strengthen the bonds we have as an association of Baptists Churches. Shake of the mundane and come celebrate the goodness of God.
